We are looking for a Marketing & Business Development Associate to support our firm's growth and day-to-day operations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across marketing, business development, HR, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a law firm.
Day-to-day of the role: Assist in delivering the firm’s marketing and business development strategy. Manage and update marketing materials, including brochures, website content, and social media platforms. Support event planning and coordination, including seminars, webinars, and networking events. Conduct research on clients, markets, and competitors to support business development initiatives. Communicate and build relationships with organisations and other third parties. Draft and proofread content for newsletters, press releases, and client-facing communications. Maintain and update client and contact databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR. Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client tenders. Provide support with day-to-day HR administration, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and maintaining staff records. Liaise with candidates and recruitment agencies to support the hiring process. Assist with Legal Aid compliance tasks, ensuring files and processes meet regulatory standards. Support the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator with day-to-day administrative and strategic tasks. Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to deliver firm-wide projects. Provide general administrative and reception support, including scheduling and handling telephone enquiries as required.
