Marketing Contractor

We’re looking for a commercially astute, sales-driven Marketing Contractor to lead on the delivery of hyper-local marketing activity in either Pembrokeshire or Devon, driving awareness, engagement and, most importantly, sales.
This is a remote UK-based role, but regular travel is required which may include visits to London, Pembrokeshire or Devon depending on project needs. The contract runs until 18th December 2025, and the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running to deliver strong local results.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing 360° integrated marketing campaigns, tailored to resonate in the local area you’re covering. Working across digital, traditional and event channels, and in close collaboration with our central team and field-based colleagues, you’ll help deliver campaigns that are deeply rooted in local insight and focused on sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Area-Specific Campaign Development:
Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns for either Pembrokeshire or Devon, driving local awareness and converting interest into measurable sales. - Commercial and Sales Focus:
Ensure all marketing activity has clear commercial goals, supports sales conversion, and is measured against defined performance KPIs. - 360 Campaign Execution:
Manage full-funnel campaigns including paid media, direct mail, local press, digital and social advertising, door drops, sponsorships, events, and influencer or partner engagement. - Local Insight & Collaboration:
Work closely with field teams and community contacts to gather on-the-ground insights that shape messaging, targeting, and channel selection. - Content and Messaging Adaptation:
Tailor content to reflect regional identity and tone of voice, ensuring consistent but locally relevant communication across all touchpoints. - Cross-Team Coordination:
Collaborate with marketing, brand, sales, and external agencies or suppliers to align activities, share learnings, and ensure cohesive delivery. - Travel & Representation:
Be prepared to travel as needed to support campaign delivery and team collaboration. This may include meetings or activations in London, Pembrokeshire, or Devon. - Budget & Timeline Management:
Manage your area’s campaign budgets and timelines effectively, ensuring activity is delivered on time, on message, and with impact. - Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track, analyse and optimise campaign performance, with a clear focus on outcomes, especially sales impact. - Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on marketing experience across digital, traditional and experiential channels
- Proven ability to create and deliver commercially effective, sales-led campaigns
- Strong understanding of hyper-local and community-based marketing strategies
- Confident working independently in a remote and fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – comfortable working cross-functionally
- Willing and able to travel regularly within the UK (London, Pembrokeshire, Devon or other areas as needed)
- Experience working with field or regional teams is highly desirable
- Experience in the telecoms and/or broadband sector is a strong advantage – helping you hit the ground running and understand key audience needs
- Familiarity with either Pembrokeshire or Devon would be an advantage
