Purpose of the Role
This pivotal role will enable the Lamington Group (LG) Marketing function and operating model, supporting our ambitious growth target of 5,000 net-zero rooms by 2030, alongside our certified B-Corp status. You will manage a team of in-house professionals and third-party agencies to deliver group-wide marketing communications, services, and brand guardianship across our diverse portfolio, including room2 (ApartHotels), Lamington Serviced Apartments, Mission Works (Co-Working), Winnie's (F&B), Dream Desk (Virtual Concierge/CX), and Lamington Group itself.
This is a progression-focused opportunity to design and shape a contemporary marketing communications function within a forward-looking, tech-first/AI-enabled business. You will be a guardian of the Lamington Group brands, ensuring all communication reflects brand guidelines, ethos, and experience-focused touchpoints. Your ability to create and deliver engaging content and marketing activations that strengthen brand identity will be vital. You should be adept at managing internal and external specialist resources.
You will envision, evolve, and lead Marketing Communications, Content Marketing, and Marketing Services, overseeing a hybrid team to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned execution of campaigns, content, PR, and activations.
Key Responsibilities
People:
Brand & Marketing Communications: Lead the delivery of compelling, brand-aligned content and messaging across all customer and B2B touchpoints. Manage production of creative marketing collateral (print, digital, experiential) with internal and agency teams, ensuring consistency with brand values, tone, and visual identity.
Agency & Supplier Management: Oversee performance and workflow of external marketing services agencies (social, creative, content), negotiating contracts, tracking performance, and optimising ROI. Act as brand custodian for agency briefs and outputs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Digital Marketing to integrate campaigns and CRM strategy. Liaise with Sales, Operations, and ESG teams, providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
Places
Social Media Strategy & Activation: Own the overarching social media strategy, overseeing content calendars, channel growth, platform engagement (IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), and supporting on-the-ground activations.
Campaign Planning & Execution: Lead the development, management, and post-analysis of integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating with Digital Marketing and Commercial teams to align messaging and KPIs.
Creative Strategy & Services Oversight: Manage and prioritise the output of the in-house Graphic Designer and Brand Consultant, providing creative direction and managing design resourcing.
Support & Oversee PR, External Comms & Influencer Marketing: Support press release creation, media kits, and PR strategy with outsourced partners.
Planet
Champion Lamington Group's leadership in net zero, B-Corp, and carbon neutrality by embedding sustainability messaging throughout campaigns and brand storytelling.
Own the narrative development and amplification of ESG milestones , collaborating with the ESG/Sustainability team to communicate progress and initiatives.
Build relationships with sustainability influencers and B-Corp communities, developing case studies and impact reports to reinforce credibility and transparency.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Hospitality, property, lifestyle, or sustainability sector experience in a senior marketing or communications role .
Demonstrated experience leading hybrid in-house + agency teams.
Strong campaign development, storytelling, and multi-channel communication skills.
Experience in PR, influencer marketing, and media relations.
Proven ability to deliver brand-aligned creative output at scale.
Project and budget management capabilities.
Passion for ESG, sustainability, and impact communications.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Competitive salary up to £55,000pa and discretionary bonus scheme.
