We're seeking a diligent, proactive, hands-on Marketing Communications Executive to join our Marketing team.
External marketing communications:
- Assisting in the development of high-quality communication strategies and messaging plans.
- Writing, editing, proofreading and producing content that reflects the identity and integrity of the brand, including quarterly client communication, brochureware, sales aids, email marketing, event material, and presentations among others.
- Writing communications, such as letters, announcements and important information to clients, advisers and other contacts, as and when required.
- Managing and producing content for digital channels, campaigns, website and social media that drive lead generation, brand awareness and engagement.
- Designing creative assets (alongside designers where necessary) in line with brand guidelines for both digital and internal / external communication.
- Assisting in external content creation such as press releases and articles.
- Providing copy as required by other members of the Marketing team, working to their brief.
- Supporting marketing campaigns - working with the Marketing team to coordinate creative assets and contribute fresh ideas.
- Assisting with the creation of engaging content for internal communications.
- Tracking performance and engagement.
- Managing and writing the award entries for the business (Quilter Cheviot investment management and financial planning).
- Creating and maintaining an awards calendar and liaising with external providers to submit entries.
- Collating entries from individuals across the business (Quilter Cheviot investment management and financial planning).
- Following and adhering to compliance procedures, obtaining the relevant approval before submission.
- Tracking outcomes for reporting purposes.
- Assisting with copywriting and the production of our bi-annual client magazine.
- Creating and scheduling accurate and engaging long / short format content for regular newsletters, working with relevant teams to organise delivery of the newsletters.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Providing support with managing the marketing mailbox and maintaining contact lists. Liaising with relevant teams to ensure timely response to enquiries.
- Supporting with the review of financial promotions for the business.
We are looking for a proactive and creative individual with extensive experience. This role will join the existing Marketing team and will work in broad and varied capacity, encompassing copywriting, marketing communications and ad-hoc marketing support. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation and multitasking skills, be commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management.
Essential skills & experience:
- Preferably a degree or equivalent in a marketing, communications or journalistic discipline.
- At least 2 years' experience in a Marketing, Copywriting, PR or Corporate Communications role.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills.
- A thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign packages) is preferable.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling with excellent attention to detail.
- Creative thinker - enjoys generating new ideas and engaging content.
- Organised and proactive - able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong administrative skills - efficient in managing tasks and organising work.
- Team player - great communication skills.
- Adaptable and eager to learn, always ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
- Degree in Marketing, English or a related field.
- Having an understating of the financial services sector is important.
