The role can be fulfilled on a part-time or full-time basis.About the roleWe are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team and report to the Head of Marketing and Communications. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career marketer to develop a broad range of skills across marketing, communications and public relations.You will support Harmony’s marketing, communications and PR efforts, helping to present the company to stakeholders, communities and the wider public. The role offers variety, responsibility, and opportunities to grow in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & CommunicationsSupport the development and delivery of campaigns across digital, print and media channels.Draft, edit and proofread press releases, web copy, newsletters and internal communications.Assist in preparing presentations, reports and promotional materials.Coordinate with external agencies to support campaigns and projects as required.Public Affairs & Stakeholder EngagementMonitor political, industry and media developments relevant to the business.Prepare briefings, consultation materials and stakeholder updates.Coordinate events, community engagement activities and meetings with external stakeholders.Digital & DesignUpdate and maintain company website content (WordPress).Create graphics, infographics and digital assets for social media and presentations.Contribute ideas and content for social media to grow online reach and engagement.Collaborate with creative and digital agencies on design, web, branding and campaign projects.GeneralProvide day-to-day administrative support.Contribute to measurement and reporting of communications activity.Support colleagues with marketing and communications advice as required.Skills & ExperienceDegree in marketing, communications, public relations, politics, design or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Creative mindset with an interest in design, branding and storytelling.Willingness to learn new skills and work across marketing, communications and PR.Basic knowledge of website content management systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Desirable (not essential)Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.Knowledge of HTML/CSS or basic web development.Familiarity with political or public affairs landscapes.Previous experience in marketing, PR or communications (including internships).Experience working with agencies (PR, digital, development).What We OfferA varied role covering marketing, communications, PR, public affairs and design.On-the-job training and mentoring to build your career in the sector.Opportunities to work with external agencies on projects.Meaningful projects with real-world impact in a supportive, collaborative environment.Package and BenefitsPrivate Medical Insurance, Life Assurance and Income ProtectionEV leasing schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity payWellbeing support and adviceAdditional holiday entitlement after long serviceClasspass creditsPlease include in your application a brief note explaining why you are interested in the Marketing & Communications Coordinator role at Harmony Energy, with salary expectations and indicating if you are seeking a full or part-time role.
