Your new role
Temporary 3/4 month role as a marketing assistant. In this dynamic role, you'll support a values-led organisation by managing and maintaining digital platforms, including the website and intranet, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and well-organised. You'll lead on digital communications by overseeing social media channels and central inboxes, responding to enquiries, and promoting internal news and events through platforms like Viva Engage. A key part of your work will involve enhancing the website's SEO through strategic content optimisation. You'll also contribute to marketing efforts by creating branded materials and templates, and provide performance insights through monthly analysis of digital engagement metrics. Alongside these core responsibilities, you'll offer general administrative support, help produce newsletters, and uphold the organisation's commitment to equality, health and safety, and continuous improvement. This is a varied and impactful role where your contributions will help shape how the organisation communicates and connects with both internal and external audiences.
What you'll need to succeed
They are looking for someone with proven marketing experience, whether through placements, internships, or previous roles. Ideally, you'll hold a Level 4 qualification in marketing or be a recent marketing graduate. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proactive, self-starting attitude and a genuine drive to succeed. You should have a solid understanding of marketing and communications principles and be confident in applying them in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
