They are now seeking a strategic and driven Marketing & Business Development Manager to join their leadership team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the future of a leading set, reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of business development and marketing strategies
Build and maintain strong client relationships, including organising and attending events
Representing Chambers at strategic events to foster relationships and generate new opportunities.
Manage digital presence, directories, events, and campaigns
Collaborate to encourage marketing and business development initiatives
Strengthen client relationships across the legal and business community
Monitor market trends, client feedback, and competitive positioning
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in client facing business development, preferably in the legal or professional services sector
Proven ability to identify and effectively capitalise on opportunities
Strategic thinker with strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
Collaborative team player and self-starter
Skilled in digital marketing and social media strategy
Professional, commercially astute, and adaptable with a hands-on approach

This is a full-time position offered with a highly competitive salary, flexible hybrid working, with some national travel required.
Chambers operates in both Leeds and Newcastle, and occasional in-person attendance in Chambers will be required so as to build and maintain rapport with the members. Events take place nationwide on a roughly monthly basis, so suitable candidates must be willing and able to travel, primarily to major UK cities. Outside of these commitments, the role is predominantly remote, with home-based working available within the UK.
