The Opportunity Our Marketing Team is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist responsible for being the in-house Email Service Provider (Pardot) expert, fully leveraging its capabilities to design optimal communication strategy, flows and integration between systems to deliver on business growth strategy.

Central to the growth ambition of Hult Ashridge is a new focus on targeting a cadence of impactful communications towards Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) accounts to build awareness, trust and engagement. The successful candidate will enable this work through delivery of marketing automation flows, working within the marketing team and partnering with sales, sales operations and our CRM (Salesforce) technical team.

You will design, implement, manage, and optimize marketing automation workflows, manage email templates, and ensure timely, error-free campaign and operational deployments across channels. You will deliver strategic, impactful messaging that deepens customer engagement and simplifies communication touchpoints in partnership with the marketing team.

The job requires experience with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), or similar platforms; a solid understanding of HTML, and familiarity with SQL is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing and business stakeholders to support a customer-centric ICP strategy and deliver measurable business results.
  • Act as the marketing team’s expert in executing campaigns through Pardot, ensuring full utilization of its features to drive performance and meet objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end production and deployment of emails, including formatting, rendering, image quality, content accuracy, targeting, setup, basic HTML coding, and testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the internal creative team to optimize and maintain consistent branded email templates, understand HTML email template coding, and ensure brand consistency across all email assets.
  • Oversee current marketing automation efforts by researching and applying best practices, optimizing workflows (including lead scoring and grading), identifying patterns, and developing reusable templates and filters to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage audience segmentation and data application, sharing best practices across the marketing team.
  • Provide support and training in Pardot to marketing team members on foundational functionality (email sends, segmentations, forms, reporting).
  • Work closely with the tech and Salesforce teams to ensure smooth syncing and lead assignment processes, troubleshoot form handler sync errors, and maintain Pardot-CRM integrations (Salesforce).
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to drive meaningful optimizations.
  • Lead A/B testing efforts, evaluating the impact of different strategies on engagement and conversion performance.
  • Support marketing performance reporting and insights across analytics and marketing platforms, including attribution model exploration.
  • Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations (such as GDPR) while staying current on email best practices and evolving industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Pardot or similar marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Marketing Cloud).
  • Experience in B2B marketing is advantageous, though not required.
  • Experience of basic HTML/CSS coding.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and process management.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to track and interpret trends and optimize campaigns and segmentations.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL is an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of English.
  • Self-starter with curiosity and eagerness to learn, explore platforms, and continuously improve.
