A leading distributor are looking for a creative, detail-driven Marketing Assistant to take the lead on social media activity across the business and support the delivery of their flagship annual Trade Show.
About the Role:
This is a unique role blending hands-on social media ownership with major involvement in one of the company's biggest yearly projects. You'll have real autonomy, a large audience reach, and the chance to shape the online presence of both the core brand and a growing innovation event.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day social media content across multiple channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) for a well-known B2B brand with 20,000+ followers.
* Create and manage a dedicated social media channel for the company's annual Innovation Show.
* Develop clear, engaging copy and visual assets, working closely with the wider marketing and studio teams.
* Play a central role in planning, coordinating and delivering marketing output for the Innovation Trade Show, which will form 8-9 months of your annual workload.
* Support additional marketing activity at the company's Innovation Centre during quieter months.
* Work with internal teams to ensure social media aligns with wider campaigns, email activity and website content.
* Report on key metrics including growth, engagement and content performance.
What We're Looking For:
* Highly skilled in copywriting with excellent attention to detail - confident publishing content with minimal supervision.
* Comfortable managing multiple social platforms and familiar with scheduling tools, reporting dashboards and content planning.
* Creative, proactive and able to produce eye-catching, on-brand visuals (experience with Canva or similar is ideal).
* Organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple overlapping projects.
* A good communicator who enjoys working with cross-functional teams.
* Curious about social media trends and keen to bring fresh ideas.
