Our client is the leading UK manufacturer and distributor of insulated glass consumables to the glazing industry. They are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join them as a Marketing Assistant to cover maternity leave.

About the Role
As a Marketing Assistant, you'll work closely with our client's Sales and Marketing Director to deliver engaging campaigns, content, and events. This is a hands-on role where you'll support both online and offline marketing activities, ensuring everything reflects their core values - teamwork, trust, respect, and drive for success.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Creating and updating marketing materials, brochures, and packaging.
Writing engaging copy for press releases, websites, and promotional campaigns.
Managing website content, online promotions, and CRM updates.
Coordinating events, exhibitions, and direct mail campaigns.
Supporting the sales team with reports, samples, and customer communications.
Conducting marketing research and analysing campaign effectiveness.
About You
They are looking for someone enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn. You'll bring:
A degree in Marketing/Communications (or equivalent experience).
At least 1 years' experience in a similar B2B marketing role.
Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Good IT literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects.
It would also be great (but not essential) if you have experience with Adobe InDesign or similar design software, knowledge of SEO, digital marketing and social media campaigns, CRM or CMS experience, and event management exposure.
