Marketing Assistant for a global brand

Company laptop will be provided. 9 month fixed contract, with the option to extend, 1 month probationary period.

£25K salary with room for negotiation

Our client, a well-known household name and global brand, is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to play a critical role in organising, enriching and managing social media assets and marketing content.

 

They are seeking an enthusiastic, out-of-the-box thinker, who will be proactive and look to identify opportunities to streamline processes and work cross-functionally with the business and EMEA ANZ Marketing teams to drive strategic and creative marketing solutions. This is a virtual role, although in-person meetings will be required, with a large portion on a working-from-home basis and will therefore suit someone who enjoys working with large volumes of information, takes pride in job well done and has a mature, responsible attitude.

 

This role will be responsible for E2E social media and email marketing, covering all aspects of the consumer journey; project managing our internal teams, using existing templates to support the completion and delivery of these assets. Experience with social media for business use (META, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn) and email marketing (Iterable) platforms is not essential but definitely helpful to the right candidate. Your work will become the face of the brand across our social channels and as such it demands concentration, attention to detail and can-do attitude on a daily basis.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with all Brand Managers to complete creative and digital briefs to increase brand development and marketing initiatives across digital platforms (social media and email)
  • Own Digital Marketing Activation Project Management managing deliverables with internal team and agency partner
  • Provide support to Central Brand Team; supporting the development and execution of innovative and dynamic brand strategies across EMEA ANZ. Managing creative development process; starts new jobs, develops creative briefs, reviews creative provided by internal studio partners, and provides feedback

·      Manage day-to-day project activities as well as drive the strategic choices that will enable our brand portfolio to achieve its short and long-term goals.

·      Support coordination and strategic partnership with the multi-functional marketing team in the development and implementation of plans with excellence

·      Stewards the Brand portfolio across the organization - leading development, execution and adherence to Brand Guidelines as well as managing and providing brand creative assets (packaging, photography, digital content development, sales kits, video content, etc.) to multi-functional partners.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organization, personnel management, and project management skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work well cross-functionally with people at all levels and different backgrounds
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to take direction, trouble shoot and work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
  • Exceptional spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong work ethic with the desire to learn and grow.
  • Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and ability to spot emerging trends
