OverviewWe are looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and social media efforts. The role helps promote our brand, engage our audience and support campaigns that align with our organisation's mission. The Marketing Assistant will report to the Business Development Manager and work closely with the wider team.ResponsibilitiesManage and schedule content across social media platformsAssist with marketing campaigns, email communications and promotional materialsMonitor and report on social media and campaign performanceCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to support marketing initiativesMaintain marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are metSupport tracking of KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns (e.g., social media engagement, audience growth, website traffic, email open rates)Review social media channels, respond to messages and schedule postsCreate or update content and graphics for campaignsTrack and report on engagement metrics and campaign results, highlighting progress against KPIsCollaborate with team members on upcoming initiatives and events, develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelinesPlan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resourcesContribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign developmentUse research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the projectUse copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelinesBuild and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital mediaProofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and on brandUse software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specificationContribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and servicesOrganise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliantUse a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated contentCreate and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assetsUse technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project managementIdentify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectivesMonitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costsReview campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the resultsMeasure and evaluate
