THE ROLEAncient + Brave has recently launched into Spain, and we have big ambitions for growth in 2025-2026, driven by a busy marketing and content calendar driving brand awareness for our own website, retail partners and Amazon store. We need a self-motivated and organised Marketing Assistant to join our in-house team to help us move fast, say yes to the new opportunities that come our way and to spread the word about Ancient + Brave and the importance of collagen for a Spanish audience.
This role can be offered as a 5 day (full time) or 4 day (32 hours) working week and will be offered as an initial 6 month FTC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBased in the UK and reporting to Marketing Manager, Spain you will be responsible for the following:
General
Conduct web audits and review website copy
Organise and develop the Brand Bible in Spanish, a comprehensive toolkit with approved product claims
Create FAQs to support Customer Service
Assist Customer Service with Spanish-related inquiries
Set up marketing activities including translation and localisation of email flows
Translate content for the website, Amazon, user-generated content (UGC), and influencer scripts
Monitor comments on influencer posts and coordinate responses via the A+B Instagram account when needed
Translate requirements for the Affiliate Programme
Prepare sales reports to track and follow up on KPIs (key performance indicators)
Maintain the marketing calendar and coordinate efforts between teams
Brand Awareness
Approve UGC and influencer content
Brief and translate paid ads for Meta and Google, and provide briefs to the design team
Collaborate with the nutritionist on paid ad content, ensuring verification and approval
Support influencer and podcast campaigns
Manage product shipments to influencers and partners
Review and follow up on Amazon coupon campaigns
Engagement + Partnerships
Research and reach out to relevant brands for partnerships at events, newsletters, and Instagram campaigns (e.g., competitions) to distribute samples and grow both Instagram followers and newsletter subscribers
Manage community groups such as running clubs, swimming clubs, and yoga studios by identifying contacts for sample gifting and event partnerships to create content tagged with our Instagram handle
Oversee sample product orders for influencers, partners, events, press, and media; track deliveries to ensure timely arrival and monitor spending against the monthly sample budget
Support event planning including managing attendee lists, sending invitations, producing marketing materials, and coordinating logistics for product and material delivery
Growth + Reporting
Organise all aspects of product photo and video shoots
Compile data and insights reports covering website traffic, subscriptions, product mix, and top 10 product sales
Manage social media reporting, competitor analysis, and tracking using Sprout
Prepare and deliver weekly reports
WHO YOU ARETo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:
Native-level fluency in Spanish, with excellent written communication skills in both Spanish and English
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Confidence working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
A genuine interest in consumer marketing and the wellness space
Previous marketing experience, ideally within a D2C brand or wellness-focused business; experience at a creative or marketing agency is also valued

Our Interview Process and What You Can Expect
Application Review: We’ll start by reviewing your CV/application to ensure it’s a good fit for the role.
Initial Phone Call (circa 15-20 minutes): You’ll have a brief introductory chat with Ellie, our Talent Partner. We’ll discuss your experience, your career aspirations and explore how your values align with ours.
Video Interview (circa 30 minutes): The next step is a virtual interview with the hiring manager, via Google Meet. This will be an introductory conversation featuring experience-based and competency-based questions. It’s also a great time to ask any initial questions you have!
Interview Task: You’ll receive a task via email which you can prepare at home. This will form part of the discussion for the in-person interview.
In-Person Interview (60-90 minutes): The final stage is an in-person interview at our Lewes office. You’ll meet with the hiring manager and one other team member and present your interview task and answer competency questions. This is also your opportunity to ask us any remaining questions.
