The Marketing Assistant Manager sits within the Consulting marketing team with oversight of activity across the public and private sectors. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the marketing strategy across the business, creating, developing and implementing marketing plans, and collaborating with the central enablement teams (content, digital, social and design). This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, flexible on location and open to flexible working, reduced hours and job shares. A look into the role
Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to create, develop and deliver on consulting‑wide marketing initiatives and projects. Have oversight of the marketing activity required by the consulting team, developing a strong understanding of the team’s offerings and articulating them simply and effectively. Collaborate with junior marketing team members and senior stakeholders to develop and implement marketing plans tailored to specific target audiences and sectors. Work with business development colleagues to ensure propositions are effectively taken to market and that they have the marketing support needed to deliver on targets. Work with marketing operations colleagues including the digital team and content team to provide a multi‑channel marketing approach (website, social media, e‑comm, events, webinars, collateral and more). Be a champion of marketing best practice, ensuring the best advice and outcomes for our stakeholders. Act with integrity and adhere to our organisational values.
Knowing you’re right for us
Proven track record in marketing within professional services. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and project management skills. Background in campaign management, producing quality and consistent messages across all channels, managing marketing campaigns from inception through reporting on ROI. Experience working with suppliers and third parties. Degree level education or equivalent. A confident self‑starter with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A creative, analytical and strategic thinker challenging the status quo and developing innovative and effective marketing campaigns and initiatives.
