Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Nr. Crowborough, East Sussex

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Type: Full time, 0800-1800hrs, 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday

Salary: £28k

The role offers a unique opportunity to work 4 days a week! (Fridays off) in a full time role. The role will sit under the Head of Marketing offering guidance and support. This is a hard working busy role, for a local company on a mission to grow their brand event further!

Role Overview

They are seeking a detail-oriented, creative Marketing Assistant to support their dynamic marketing team. You will help plan and execute campaigns, manage social media, analyse performance data and contribute to their overall brand growth in the competitive art space. Ideal candidates are passionate about art, design and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Content creation: Plan and produce engaging content for social media (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn), emails, blogs and advertising, inline with the overall marketing strategy

Social Media Management: Schedule posts, monitor engagement, respond to comments and help grow their online community to the agreed KPI’s.

Email Marketing: Support newsletter creation, segmentation and performance tracking using the agreed platforms

Campaign Support: Help in planning and executing product/artist launches, sales promotions and seasonal campaigns.

Visual Asset Coordination: Organise product photos, Roomscapes and videos for marketing use

Market Research: Help identify interior design trends, competitor strategies and customer preferences

Exhibitions: Assist with the pre and post marketing and communication plans for key industry shows including

Administrative Support: Manage marketing calendars, coordinate with designers/copywriters, manage stockists marketing support requests

Other Marketing related duties as reasonably requested by your line manager, in line wit the needs of the department

Qualifications

Experience: 1 -2 years in a marketing, communications or creative role, ideally in a relevant industry sector

Skills

Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram/Pinterest focus preferred)

Basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and photo/video editing

Familiarity with email marketing tools and analytics platforms

Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities

Organised with excellent time management Mindset

Passion for art interior design or home décor

Adaptable, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative team player with a creative eye

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
