We are pleased to announce an exciting permanent opportunity for the role of Marketing and Shortlisting Officer. This pivotal role is essential in our efforts to advertise and allocate available homes, ensuring that the letting process aligns seamlessly with Council and Lettings policies.
Responsibilities
As a Marketing and Shortlisting Officer, you will be responsible for advertising vacant homes for choice-based lettings. You will manage the end-to-end process of letting vacant dwellings, from shortlisting and allocation to ensuring efficient management of vacant properties, guaranteeing full compliance with Council policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Skills
You will work closely with Common Housing Register partners, registered providers, and local authorities to maximise housing opportunities. Our ideal candidate will be well-versed in Housing Legislation and Council Policy and can work both proactively and independently. Strong organisational skills, a keen understanding of the importance of deadlines, and proficiency in IT, particularly with NEC housing systems, are essential for success in this role.
