We are a tiny charity with a huge reach, reliant on funding, and we are seeking a Trustee to help us grow our income and become more resilient.We have the ideas for expanding, but need strategic support to turn them into reality. The right person could steer us toward becoming the orchestra that visits schools and inspires a lifelong love of music.What difference will you make?Help us reach more children and ensure schools can access our programs by strengthening our marketing, fundraising, and funding strategy. This is a hands-on trustee role in a small team with a big mission.What are we looking for?We want someone with strategic insight and practical experience who is motivated by Kidenza’s mission to bring music to as many children as possible.Essential Skills And ExperienceTrack record of success in marketing, brand-building, or communications (ideally in the charity, education, or arts sector).Experience designing and delivering marketing or fundraising campaigns that generate revenue.Familiarity with digital platforms and CRM tools for audience management and donor engagement.A collaborative mindset and ability to work with a small, hands-on team.DesirableExperience Marketing To Schools Or Other Public Institutions.Knowledge of donor development, particularly regular giving programmes.Understanding of high-net-worth fundraising or philanthropy.Experience working in a small charity or start-up environment.What will you be doing?We’re looking for a Marketing & Fundraising Trustee to help drive our growth in four key ways:Boost school bookings – sharpen our offer, pricing, and contact strategy so more schools choose Kidenza.Build regular giving – inspire more people to give £5–£20/month to keep the music playing.Support our grant funding work with compelling stories and evidence of impact.Help us connect with major donors who believe in the transformative power of music.This is a hands-on trustee role.
