Job Title: Business and Marketing Analyst (Motorsports!)

Location: Bicester (hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 remote)

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000


About the Role

The Business and Marketing Analyst will place data and insight at the core of the organisation’s Marketing and Membership strategy.


This role involves tracking, analysing, and interpreting performance data across various marketing channels and organisational systems, with the aim of driving engagement, optimising campaigns, and supporting overall strategic growth. The analyst will collaborate across Marketing, Commercial, and Member Services teams to ensure data-driven decision-making throughout the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on marketing performance across digital channels, email campaigns, websites, and social media—developing dashboards, KPIs, and insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Translate marketing and membership data into actionable insights that drive engagement, event attendance, and strategic growth.
  • Aggregate data from multiple internal systems (e.g., CRM, event registrations, finance, member services), synthesising and analysing it to inform strategy.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Marketing, Commercial, and member-facing teams.
  • Support initiatives to optimise digital campaigns, refine content strategies, improve segmentation and targeting, and drive ROI.
  • Analyse member lifecycle data
  • Conduct market and trend research to benchmark performance and inform innovation.
  • Assist with planning and evaluating pilot campaigns and new member initiatives.


Required Competencies & Skills

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within a membership-driven or event-focused context.
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM/marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, segmentation, and attribution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex data insights.
  • Analytical thinker, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
