OverviewA new exciting management role within Workman Activate's Placemaking team, delivering destination marketing and placemaking services. The role focuses on managing a varied portfolio of Destination Marketing accounts for retail, mixed-use and commercial properties, delivering a 360 marketing service. The service specialises in integrated marketing activities aimed at increasing footfall, dwell time and spend, enlivening spaces to connect destinations with local communities and improve tenant satisfaction and retention. Regular and direct communication with clients, internal property managers and onsite staff is required to organise, facilitate and deliver the properties marketing activities. Salary Band: £35,000 to £40,000. Location: London.
Responsibilities
Lead on the preparation of each property’s annual marketing plan and budgets.
Implement a robust activity planning process for each account, providing a clear plan and actions for the year ahead.
Manage budgets on relevant schemes, including raising purchase orders or tracking payments where applicable.
Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager, Place Marketing Manager and Placemaking Director to deliver elements of the team’s placemaking consultancy work, focusing on Regeneration, Repurposing and Enlivenment.
Develop and deliver the B2C marketing and events plan for retail and commercial properties, overseeing events, social media, web, digital projects, budgeting and reporting.
Support future growth of the service and placemaking consultancy projects.
Mentor and guide Marketing Assistant(s), providing direction to complete tasks and develop their careers.
Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and priorities.
