About The Role

As Legal Counsel for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty you will report to a Senior Legal Counsel. You will provide legal support to the global commercial, talent, marketing and advertising teams (excluding China), delivering high standards of legal advice and regulatory compliance while supporting international growth.

You will support the business negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts including creative services, VIP and talent, partnerships, sponsorships, endorsements and IP licences. The team advises on marketing campaigns across all media, product packaging, brand and product collaborations, consumer law and CAP/BCAP Codes and DMCCA compliance. You will assist other areas of the business and legal team on matters including distribution, procurement and digital and technology (including AI). You will help develop and enhance working processes to ensure objectives are achieved on time with appropriate stakeholder approval.

As Legal Counsel you will

  • Assist with legal affairs relating to consumer, marketing and advertising matters, with supervision from the Senior Legal Counsel
  • Support day-to-day legal queries, identify legal risks and provide commercially sound advice
  • Develop and implement legal procedures and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws
  • Draft, negotiate and review contracts and other regulatory or contractual documents
  • Review marketing collateral across all media for regulatory compliance
  • Support legal proceedings and work with outside counsel when required
  • Prepare and conduct legal training for staff

  • Experience with the beauty/retail market is a plus; ability to work across cultures and jurisdictions
  • Shares ideas to improve templates and playbooks for the team

Personal Conduct

  • Enthusiastic, responsible and accurate in a fast-paced environment

Professional Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor – England and Wales
  • Experience with a leading national or international law firm or reputable business
  • Experience advising on multi-jurisdictional issues is desirable

Working Environment

  • Office-based in Central London (hybrid, with three days in the office per week)
