OverviewLead Marketing Manager – PC/Console studio – Hybrid WorkingA North-East based Games studio are currently looking for a Lead Marketing Manager to join their growing team. Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers, who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.As a member of the Marketing team, you will be helping them plan their future releases. You’ll be directly interfacing with all sides of the games industry, from community, development, press and media, and you’ll have a huge say on the Marketing Strategy of the business.ResponsibilitiesYou will be tasked with creating, analysing and monitoring campaigns across the studio’s portfolio and help drive engagement and visibility across the full product lifecycle. You will be generating press releases, proofreading content, key art and executing all communications between the studio and their players, all whilst managing a small team of 2 Community Managers and a Video/Trailer Artist. You will talk to internal PR, Social Media and Product Teams to help get “the word out” on releases and help plan future releases with influence across the studio.Qualifications / RequirementsStrong Experience in the games industry, especially on PC and ConsolePast managerial or mentoring experienceAn excellent track record of successful Marketing CampaignsAbility to interface with clients, consumers and mediaExperience with reviewing Marketing assets before they go liveHighly approachable and a good ability to networkBenefits & Working ArrangementsIn return the studio can offer flexible working hours, annual/Christmas bonuses, private healthcare and Christmas Closures.
