Opportunity Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to temporarily join my client, one of the world's leading insurers and reinsurers, as a Junior Marketing Business Partner.
Role Objective
The Junior Marketing Business Partner supports the delivery of marketing initiatives that contribute to business growth and brand awareness. Working closely with the broader Marketing and Communications team, this role assists in the coordination and execution of marketing activities, providing day-to-day support to internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery of campaigns and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist marketing business partners in the development and rollout of marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Support the implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather input for marketing initiatives and help translate business needs into clear creative briefs.
- Brief marketing assets into the in-house studio, ensuring aims, wants and needs are clear to deliver the asset right first time.
- Help maintain marketing content and materials, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Contribute to the preparation of marketing reports, tracking performance and identifying key insights to inform future activities.
- Participate in project meetings, take notes, follow up on action items, and help keep timelines on track.
- Stay up to date with marketing best practices and contribute ideas for improving campaign effectiveness and team processes.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legal, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Raise and manage purchase orders to support campaign and project delivery, ensuring accurate tracking and timely processing of supplier costs.
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within insurance, financial services, or a professional services environment.
- Exposure to B2B marketing campaigns and experience supporting multi-channel initiatives.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Clear communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Qualification: A degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic marketing principles and campaign coordination.
