Junior Creative Designer - Marketing (Maternity Cover)

Overall Aim of the Role:

The Junior Creative Designer will play a key role in shaping and delivering the visual identity of Nirvana Spa, West Court Retreat, Pulse 8 Gym, and Nirvana Health. Working as part of a collaborative marketing team, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging visuals across a variety of touchpoints, including social media, digital campaigns, print materials, signage, merchandise, web design, photography, and video editing. Your work will ensure all creative outputs align with our brand values and enhance the customer experience.
This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role that combines creativity with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to understand business needs, develop ideas, and bring them to life through thoughtful and consistent design. You’ll also liaise with external photographers, videographers, and printers to deliver high-quality content that inspires and elevates the brand.

What you’ll do:

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Brand & Creative Direction

  • Maintain and evolve the visual identity for all brands within the Nirvana Spa Collection, ensuring consistency across platforms and materials
  • Translate campaign ideas into compelling visuals for digital, print, social media, email, and web.
  • Design materials for internal and external events, merchandise, and promotional campaigns.
  • Help uphold brand standards across all departments.

Design & Content Creation

  • Create marketing collateral such as leaflets, posters, brochures, email graphics, digital banners, social media content, signage, packaging, and more.
  • Build and maintain landing pages and web design elements with a strong focus on user experience and brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate engaging visual content for use across digital and print channels.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Work with the marketing team and other departments to understand design needs and deliver creative solutions.
  • Support the management of creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Liaise with external photographers, videographers, printers, and merchandisers to produce professional creative assets.

Events & Campaign Visual Identity

  • Develop bespoke branding and styling for key campaigns and events such as CarFest, Easter, Christmas, wellness talks, and guest experiences.
  • Support visual merchandising and on-site signage to enhance event atmosphere and customer engagement.

Skills and attributes

  • Strong portfolio showcasing multi-channel design work (digital, print, web).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Wordpress.
  • Understanding of user experience and responsive design principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple briefs.
  • A confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with the marketing team and present ideas clearly.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about design and brand storytelling.
