The role involves sales for their print and digital products, marketing support for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and general secretarial back up. Native-level English and business-level Japanese are required.ResponsibilitiesSales for print and digital products: understand the advertising menu, answer enquiries and manage bookings, assist in material preparation, conduct meetings with clients and agencies, and carry out overseas trips when needed by the General Manager.Coordinate with Tokyo head office for sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa; write emails in Japanese as necessary; provide overall assistance to representatives and manage bookings/materials.Marketing support in Europe, the Middle East and Africa: produce brochures, sales materials and presentation documents in English (including proofreading and translation from Japanese), and daily check and file advertising/marketing news.General secretarial support: typing general correspondence, setting up appointments with clients/agencies, send invoices and manage payments, and respond to advertising enquiries with media packs and follow-ups.Ideal CandidateNative-level English and business-level Japanese (high-level written English; ability to translate from Japanese to English; Japanese writing and reading skills mandatory).Ability to learn quickly and good communication skills.Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.Accuracy and attention to detail.PreferredGraduateExperience in an advertising or marketing roleExperience in a Japanese environmentAdditional InformationAll applicants must have the right to work in the UK as the company is not able to offer visa support.Type: Permanent, Full-timeHours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday – FridayHours/Work Arrangement: Hybrid working - usually 3 days a week in the office, subject to change.Start: Nov 2025Location: London #J-18808-Ljbffr
