This Position reports to:

In this role, you will help shape how ABB Robotics communicates internally and connects during one of the most exciting periods in our transformation journey. Our Information Systems (IS) and Finance functions are entering a critical transformation that is reshaping how we operate globally. As these teams evolve, so does the need for clear, timely, and engaging communication that brings people along, builds confidence, and drives alignment.

You will contribute directly to business priorities by designing and delivering innovative internal communications that help employees understand change, navigate complexity, and stay inspired. Your work will ensure our people feel informed and connected at a time when ABB Robotics is accelerating its strategy, modernizing its systems, and strengthening its global footprint.

This role follows a hybrid model and offers global exposure, working closely with leaders and experts across regions (#LI-Hybrid)

This is a global role, the preferred location is within Europe.  

Your responsibilities

• Select relevant communication tools, adapt, and implement content to support evolving business priorities.

• Develop communication activities across digital channels, online campaigns, and other vehicles to support major transitions and business initiatives.

• Stimulate engagement and clarity through targeted communication efforts, ensuring employees understand and embrace ongoing changes.

• Contribute to and implement change communication plans to support functions undergoing business critical transformations

• Produce employee communication: develop and author a variety of internal communications including presentations, announcements, manage internal social media channels to deliver successful tactics across a variety of communications channels.

• Maintain the internal editorial calendar, write stories, produce videos, and work with stakeholders to help them share their voices.

Your background

• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in internal communications, change communications, or a closely related field within a complex, matrixed organization.

• You are immersed in and you enjoy working with modern internal communication tools and methodologies, including multi‑channel content creation, campaign planning, intranet and digital platforms, and you are comfortable operating within the global technology, robotics, or industrial automation environment.

• You are qualified in communication and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint/Inside+, Viva Engage, MS Teams, CMS tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and other content production or measurement platforms.

• You are passionate and innovative around storytelling, stakeholder engagement, change enablement, clarity in communication, and cross‑functional collaboration—bringing strong interpersonal, writing, and project‑management skills.

• You are fluent communicating in English.

• You hold current work permissions valid in the job location and any country‑specific visa or work permit, where required.
