Overview

We’re currently hiring for a Head of Performance Marketing to join a well-established, high-volume consumer brand operating at national scale. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, and responsible for overseeing all digital acquisition and retention activity across Paid Media, SEO and CRM.

You’ll manage a team of 9 specialists and take full ownership of strategy, budget, performance, and cross-functional collaboration across these core areas.

The company is known for delivering high-volume transactions through a tech-led, customer-first approach. The marketing team is deeply embedded in commercial strategy and performance, with a strong focus on innovation, data, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver end-to-end strategies across paid media, organic search, and CRM, aligned with business-wide growth and retention goals
  • Own and optimise the digital channel mix: search (PPC), paid social, display, affiliates, SEO
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 9, covering both performance and CRM functions
  • Manage multi-million-pound budgets, focusing on improving efficiency, ROAS, and customer LTV
  • Oversee CRM operations including segmentation, lifecycle marketing, personalisation, and automation
  • Ensure cross-channel planning aligns with business peaks and commercial cycles
  • Champion the use of data and analytics to inform decision-making, test & learn cycles, and reporting
  • Lead platform improvements and CRM/martech optimisation projects
  • Work cross-functionally with analytics, finance, CX and senior leadership to align marketing and commercial activity; present key insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders on a regular basis

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a senior-level performance marketing role, ideally in a consumer-focused environment
  • Strong hands-on and strategic experience across PPC, paid social, display, SEO, and CRM; track record of managing teams and agencies to high performance
  • Data-driven, with strong analytical skills and experience using tools like GA4, Looker Studio, or similar
  • Comfortable owning large budgets and making commercially sound decisions
  • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and CRM platform management
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with marketing performance data
  • Degree or equivalent experience preferred
