Description

Why Join DAZN?

Joining DAZN means being part of a cutting-edge sports streaming company in a vibrant tech hub. You’ll work alongside passionate, talented professionals on innovative projects that reach millions of fans worldwide. Our offers a dynamic work environment with a great balance of career growth and lifestyle. If you’re excited about shaping the future of live and on-demand sports entertainment, DAZN is the perfect place to make your mark and grow your career.

The Role:

As Head of Marketing Performance and Insights at DAZN, you’ll act as the central point of contact for marketing performance understanding. While testing and analytics are delivered through our central data and analytics function, your role is to ensure marketing has the right frameworks, KPIs, and capability to interpret and act on insights. Reporting to the EVP of Marketing, you’ll work closely with global and regional teams across paid media, CRM, product marketing, and brand to help answer the critical question: Is our marketing working—and how can it work better?

This is a critical leadership role at the heart of DAZN’s growth engine, designed to deliver measurable results through data-driven strategy, performance excellence, and global-local execution.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

  • Define and manage the global marketing effectiveness framework, including core KPIs, learning agendas, and success metrics.
  • Partner with central analytics teams to align on testing and measurement practices—including attribution, incrementality, and LTV modelling.
  • Build and maintain marketing reporting dashboards and performance scorecards that provide clarity across global and regional teams.
  • Pull and analyse data directly where needed, particularly in support of campaign reviews or strategic decision-making.
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights and share these with channel leads and senior stakeholders.
  • Guide marketing teams in setting clear objectives and measurable outcomes at campaign planning stage.
  • Support adoption of a test-and-learn mindset by embedding insight checkpoints into campaign workflows.
  • Share best practices across teams to help scale what works and course-correct what doesn’t.
  • Partner with MarTech and data stakeholders to evolve our measurement capabilities and reporting stack.
  • Act as an internal advocate for performance insight—ensuring marketing doesn’t just have data but uses it well.

What You\'ll Bring:

  • Experience in marketing insights, analytics, or effectiveness roles in fast-moving, digital-first organisations.
  • Strong grasp of campaign measurement techniques, including testing design, attribution, and funnel analytics.
  • Comfort working with raw data—able to pull your own reports, QA data, and build light dashboards as needed.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Looker, PowerBi, Tableau, GA4, Excel, SQL, or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to translate numbers into stories—making complex insights clear and useful to marketers.
  • Experience collaborating with channel leads (e.g. paid, CRM, content) and analytics or data science teams.
  • Comfortable with coding in python.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a matrixed organisation.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset—keen to enable others to make better decisions with data.
  • Passion for sports, streaming, or entertainment, and a belief in performance-led marketing.

Benefits

Benefits include access to DAZN, 25 days’ annual leave (increasing by 3 days after 3 years), private medical insurance, life assurance, pension contributions up to 5%, family friendly community including enhanced parental leave, electric vehicle benefit option, free access for you and one other to our workplace mental health platform app (Unmind), learning and development resources, opportunity for flexible working, and access to our internal speaker series and events.
