Are you an experienced and tenacious marketer looking for a new challenge that will stretch your leadership and creative capabilities? We are looking for a Head of Marketing for Monkey Shoulder who will lead one of the most exciting Whisky brands in the UK market as the brand moves into an incredibly exciting phase of development.

Main Responsibility

The Head of Marketing will lead the strategy, planning and execution for Monkey Shoulder interpreting Global Brand Strategies to define and prioritise the local market approach. Lead the development of the brand’s Integrated Business Plan (IBP) and brand activities to achieve market share and brand equity targets. Align plans with global stakeholders and lead direct reports, cross-functional and agency teams to execute best in class campaigns and activations.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is required to bring 7-10 years of experience in brand marketing leading well established and/or challenger brands. The candidate will be accomplished in insight driven planning complimented by strong commercial acumen. They will be able to demonstrate impactful stakeholder influencing skills and set clear direction for the wider business. In addition they will be well versed in creative ideation, managing high quality execution and strong analytical skills.

Additional skills and qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification in marketing is preferred. 
  • Proven experience of brand leadership, including responsibility for creating brand strategy and full market mix development.
  • A proven track record of developing working relationships and a strong business acumen. 
  • Experience leading brand communications and providing strategic guidance for an organization.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of direct reports. 
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation. 
  • Experience of P&L analysis and key financial metrics.
  • Advanced influencing and stakeholder management skills.
