Who are we?

Since cannabis was legalised for medical use in the UK back in 2018, Cantourage UK has been at the forefront of building an ecosystem to service patients and businesses across this rapidly-growing space. In doing so, we have secured a variety of pharmaceutical licenses for import/wholesale/export activities (regulated by the Home Office and MHRA) as well as a tele-health clinic license (regulated by the CQC). Zooming out, we are part of the Cantourage Group with dreams to become the leading pan-European operator in the medical cannabis industry.

If our clinic is the heart, our pharmaceutical operations is the brain. It powers the entire engine and makes the medical cannabis industry a reality.

With a solid foundation in both clinical care and wholesale supply, Cantourage UK is very much ready to shape the future of medical cannabis within the UK.

What’s the purpose of the role?

You will take full ownership of Cantourage UK’s marketing engine - brand, performance, content, community, PR and launches - and turn us into the most credible, fastest-growing and culturally resonant medical cannabis brand in the country.

Reporting directly to one of our Co-Founders, this is a proper Head of Marketing autonomy: you run the strategy, the budget, the team, the agencies and the P&L impact. You will make marketing predictable, scalable and the primary growth lever as we go from scale-up to dominant market leader across B2C clinic and B2B supply.

What impact will you have in your first 12 months?

Brand North Star & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Deliver a full 360 brand diagnosis in month 1 and lock in the wellness-cannabis bridge that everyone (Growth, Ops, Clinic, Execs) actually believes in
  • Define premium clinic positioning + exec thought-leadership playbook
  • Kick off rebrand / brand evolution that makes us instantly feel like the credible, culturally-aware player

Performance Marketing That Actually Scales in Restricted Categories

  • Build a profitable, data-driven performance engine (Meta, TikTok, Google) that survives every wave and delivers consistent ROAS in the grey zone
  • Turn paid into predictable growth lever with locked attribution, LTV:CAC, etc.

Content, Community & Cultural Resonance

  • Launch high-impact content machine (video, influencer, SEO, social) that drives real community, retention, and makes Cantourage UK the brand people actually want to follow

PR, Media & Thought Leadership Infrastructure

  • Position Cantourage UK as the authority on private healthcare innovation & medical cannabis science
  • Build lobbying/political influence pipeline

Team & Function Transformation

  • Turn marketing into predictable, scalable, data-driven machine.

What will you bring to the table?

  • 8+ years marketing experience, minimum 4 years at senior/Head of/VP level
  • Proven track record taking a consumer brand from small → national → European/global recognition
  • Deep performance marketing in restricted/heavily regulated categories (ideally nicotine, alcohol, vaping, betting, pharma, supplements, wellness)
  • Mastered scaling paid social (Meta + TikTok) and Google while keeping ROAS healthy
  • Launched multiple physical consumer products (FMCG skillset essential — NPD, positioning, go-to-market)
  • Built and led high-performing marketing teams + managed agencies and budgets
  • Exceptional brand strategist with genuine understanding of consumer psychology, storytelling, and cultural relevance
  • Data-fluent — you live in GA4, Northbeam/HT/Wicked, attribution models and can explain LTV:CAC like it’s your native language

Bonus if

  • Worked in supplements, sports nutrition, wellness, or physical tech products
  • Taken a brand from startup → scale-up or operated inside a £100m+ consumer juggernaut
  • Existing relationships with top-tier publicists, media, influencers in health/wellness/culture
  • MBA or Master’s in Marketing / Brand Strategy; CIM qualification a bonus
