Head of Marketing

We are working with a leading corporate live events company that delivers a portfolio of high-profile international B2B events.They are seeking a commercially minded and experienced Head of Marketing to lead the strategy, execution and performance of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple event brands.
This is a senior-level role suited to someone with a proven track record in events marketing who is comfortable leading a team, managing external agencies, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the end-to-end marketing strategy for international corporate live events, from planning and budgeting through to execution and reporting
- Developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract visitors, delegates, and sponsors
- Managing all aspects of branding and messaging to ensure consistency across all platforms
- Collaborating with internal sales, content and event teams to generate leads and drive conversions
- Managing relationships with suppliers including designers, developers, PR agencies, data providers, and print houses
- Coordinating international PR campaigns and external agency deliverables
- Overseeing the maintenance and optimisation of multiple event websites
- Producing and reviewing all marketing collateral including digital content, brochures, ads, emails, and web copy
- Building strategic partnerships with trade associations, media, and key industry bodies
- Negotiating and fulfilling media partnerships and contract agreements
- Monitoring competitor activity and attending rival events to gather insight
- Identifying new marketing opportunities and contributing to product development strategy
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a growing marketing team
What we’re looking for
Experience and skills:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior B2B marketing role.
- Demonstrable success in leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Experience managing teams and external suppliers
- Strong digital marketing knowledge and experience working with websites and CRM tools
- Confident in stakeholder engagement, with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Data-driven mindset with an understanding of campaign reporting and optimisation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
