Head of Marketing - Cosy Club
New Today
Overview
Loungers is a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector, operating over 300+ sites in England and Wales across three distinct but complementary brands, Lounges, Cosy Club, and Brightside. Founded in 2002 by three friends who wanted to create a neighbourhood café-bar that they would want to go to, the Group is now the only growing all-day operator of scale in the UK and has consistently outperformed the wider UK hospitality sector over the past three years. Despite being the fastest growing café/restaurant group in the Country, Loungers has retained its entrepreneurial spirit and quirky 'Loungey' local community atmosphere.
Purpose of Role
Cosy Club is on a journey of transformation - elevating our food, evolving our customer experience, and sharpening our brand. The Head of Marketing will lead this transformation from a brand perspective. They will define who the Cosy Club customer is, own the brand positioning, and translate this into a clear, measurable marketing laydown. This role will ensure that every campaign, channel, and message delivers against our promise of honesty, reliability, and quality, while also driving commercial growth.
This role is Bristol based with a working pattern of 3/4 days in our Bristol HQ and 1/2 days working from home or site.

- Work across Paid, Owned, and Earned channels to ensure integration and impact.
- Define and track success measures, focusing on both effectiveness and efficiency.
- Feel confident in the grey - able to test, learn, and launch quickly rather than waiting for perfect conditions.

Leadership & Influence
- Line-manage the Cosy Club Brand Manager, setting priorities and coaching delivery.
- Collaborate with Operations, Food & Drink, and Group Marketing to ensure alignment across the business.

- Proven ability to define brand positioning and customer strategies.
- Strong track record of leading multi-channel marketing plans that integrate Paid, Owned, and Earned.
- Data literate - comfortable interpreting dashboards, customer segmentation, and campaign metrics.
- Experience with martech and CRM platforms, ideally Airship/Zonal, with an understanding of personalisation at scale.

- Comfortable thinking both strategically and tactically.
- Confident in ambiguity, willing to test, adapt, and launch at pace.
