Head of Marketing - B2B2C Consumer Products
New Yesterday
THE COMPANY
A non-food consumer products business whose products youll see on shelves in the UKs biggest retailers. This business has created a new role for a Head of Marketing as part of their wider transformation journey as they aim to push their brand forward and make more noise in their category. Youll lead the day-to-day marketing but your main priority will be to take ownership of their digital presence. You will manage a small team and work closely with external agencies.
THE ROLE
Ownership of their online presence. Updating the website, running social media, and making sure everything shows off the brand, supports new product launches, and drives consumer awareness and retailer engagement.
Own and direct UK and international trade marketing activity, including the creation of sales materials for trade shows and industry events.
Oversee product launches end-to-end, from competitor research and positioning through to campaign delivery.
Spot opportunities for new products and ranges by keeping close to competitor activity and market trends
Build and manage strategic relationships with external partners, including creative agencies, PR firms, designers, and suppliers.
Manage a small team and a network of external agencies.
ABOUT YOU
Youll know how to drive trade and consumer traffic through digital channels. Experience in trade marketing and product launches will be important, as youll be shaping how the brand shows up to both retailers and consumers. Ideally, youll have gained this in a B2B2C, supplier, wholesaler, consumer goods, or other product-led environment. Youll also bring a commercial mindset and the ambition to shape a marketing function and make a visible impact in a growing business.
THE REWARD
This is the kind of role where youll see the difference youre making every single day, whether thats a new website going live, a product launch that steals the spotlight, or a retailer loving your latest campaign. This isnt a huge team with layers of sign-off, its an SME where youll roll your sleeves up, get stuck in, and see your ideas come to life fast. You will be able to come in, make changes, and have a strong sense of achievement. In return you will receive a salary that reflects your experience, plus private healthcare, an enhanced pension and flexible working hours.
