Location: Holborn/Chancery Lane

Contract: 13 month maternity contract

Hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00 (1 day hybrid working)

The Role

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Head of Marketing & Events who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. This role offers the opportunity to work with a network of over 500 member organisations from a wide variety of industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the delivery of the marketing, communications and events strategy that aligns with our key mission and Business Plan.

The Role Will See You

  • Lead on the delivery of the marketing, communications and events strategy
  • Line management of the Marketing & Events Manager
  • Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent and adhere to our tone of voice and style guide
  • Work with the wider team to deliver specific project events and campaigns
  • Manage the budget, ensuring all processes are adhered to and signed off
  • Work with the Marketing & Events Manager to maintain a consistent level of content across all social media channels - adhering to the predefined content pillars but also identifying other opportunities for content
  • Work with the Marketing & Events Manager to publish news articles, social media copy and other content, as required
  • Oversee the collation of content and distribution of the newsletter, taking overall responsibility for the finished product
  • Lead the Marketing & Events Manager to report on and analyse all aspects of communications, including social media performance and insights
  • Deliver an events programme across all key themes

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring with them the following skills and experience:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with target audiences and build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across various teams
  • An understanding of creative design/ graphic design, brand guidelines and the importance of consistency
  • The ability to think creatively, and to communicate effectively across all media
  • The ability to manage a budget
  • Line Management experience

The contract will start mid-October 2025 for 13 months.

Salary will depend on experience
