Renfrewshire Council is seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing & Communications to lead our strategic communications, destination marketing, and major events. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and sitting on the Corporate Management Team, this is a high-profile role with real influence across the organisation and beyond.

What You'll Do

Champion Renfrewshire's identity as a top place to live, visit, and invest.
Lead corporate communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and employee communications.
Act as the Council's lead spokesperson, shaping public affairs and crisis communications.
Drive innovative marketing strategies and sector-leading engagement practices.
Inspire and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performing, customer-focused services.

Expertise in strategic communications, destination branding, and stakeholder engagement.
