What are we looking for?
Skills & Experience
- Experience in marketing, communications, or digital media (professional or volunteer experience).
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content planning, and analytics tools.
- Ability to create and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience with brand development and storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of PR, partnerships, or community outreach is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, including social media, research, and leadership.

What will you be doing?
The Head of Marketing and Communications will lead the strategy and execution of ArtClusiv’s marketing and communications efforts, ensuring our mission to connect and amplify BIPOC creatives reaches a global audience. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of campaigns across social media, newsletters, press, and other channels.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing volunteers, providing guidance, feedback, and creative direction to ensure cohesive branding, consistent messaging, and effective campaign delivery across all channels.
- Developing and implementing a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with ArtClusiv’s goals.
- Coordinating campaigns with the Social Media and Research teams to spotlight creatives, share curated content, and promote community initiatives.
- Overseeing content scheduling, messaging, and brand consistency across platforms.
- Identifying opportunities for collaborations, partnerships, and media coverage to increase ArtClusiv’s visibility.
- Monitoring engagement and impact, reporting insights to the Directors and the wider volunteer team.
You will work closely with the Directors, Social Media Manager, and Research & Curation teams to ensure campaigns reflect the voices, culture, and creativity of BIPOC artists.
This role is flexible — while there are core responsibilities, you will have space to propose and lead new initiatives that enhance the organisation’s reach and impact.
Key deliverable A measurable, consistent marketing strategy that increases ArtClusiv’s visibility, engagement, and community growth globally.
