Job Title: Head of Digital Marketing Strategy
You will own developing and leading an end-to-end digital strategy for Philips Health System Businesses, globally. You will be responsible for partnering closely with marketing leaders across all business units to develop a digital strategy fit for the future which will drive us to new levels of business and customer impact. This Global Digital Strategy Leader joins us at an exciting and pivotal time in our transformation journey.
Responsibilities
- Develops a comprehensive end-to-end Digital Strategy and Roadmap to evolve our capabilities and grow our global digital order book by delivering on business and customer impact goals. Works closely with region and business teams across disciplines to build a holistic strategy with alignment and buy-in for success.
- Develops an impact-focused digital marketing technology strategy and approach and leverages a team of digital platform SMEs to implement and drive this globally; engages and negotiates with IT and Operational leadership to align and secure support. Manages deployment resources to ensure high-priority, complex, cross-functional programs are executed on time and achieve intended outcomes.
- Infuses outside-in thinking with internal best practices to shape a winning future direction for our digital ecosystem. Leverages healthcare industry digital trends, emerging technologies, competitor activities and market dynamics to drive innovation and differentiation. Delivers the End-to-End Digital Strategy to the Marketing Leadership Council (senior marketing leaders across Philips) and gains buy-in, alignment, and support to the plan.
- Develops and maintains a wide network of internal stakeholders and advocates for cross-functional support across Businesses, Regions, IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and other functions to build strong relationships and enable successful execution.
- Owns development of business cases to support the Digital Strategy, Roadmap, and Plan, garnering support and alignment to digital program costs and ROI.
Qualifications
- You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, developing and leading Digital Strategy, including global and regional digital strategy development; healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or pharma experience is preferred; agency experience and matrixed environment exposure is a plus; deep understanding of customer decision journeys and digital engagement strategies; Marketing Technology landscape with experience defining requirements and driving teams to develop needed solutions; experience in a large global company required.
- Skills include a performance-oriented mindset with a track record of owning and achieving/exceeding KPIs; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior executives; demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a cross-functional team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field required; MBA preferred.

Work Environment
How we work together: We believe we are better together than apart. For office-based teams, in-person work is required at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are typically outside the main facilities, at customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an office role.

Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $176,000 to $282,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in Philips Total Rewards benefits program, including generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and more.
