The Opportunity
We are seeking a Brand & Marketing Lead to provide strategic leadership across the marketing division, ensuring alignment between client goals, GJC’s growth vision, and creative output. This role bridges high-level strategy and creative execution, managing and mentoring the internal team while playing a pivotal role in client-facing strategy and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for GJC’s marketing division, ensuring cohesion between business development, client goals, and creative execution.
- Act as line manager for the Socials & Creative Lead, reviewing and approving all social content, captions, and calendars.
- Lead and oversee client content creation days, ensuring strategic objectives are met while the Socials & Creative Lead manages planning and execution.
- Conduct discovery calls with prospective clients, supported by the creative team.
- Deliver social strategy sessions tailored to each client’s brand objectives.
- Optimise content creation processes to maximise quality, efficiency, and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and Executive Assistant on client event planning, delivery, and experiential activations.
- Provide strategic and hands-on input for 360 Brand Builds, including content planning and creative execution.
About You
You’re an experienced marketer with a strong understanding of brand development, social strategy, and creative direction. You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with hands-on involvement. You’re confident in leading people, managing projects, and delivering marketing strategies that make a measurable impact.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, or social strategy (agency or consultancy experience preferred).
- Proven ability to lead creative or marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, digital trends, and content performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines with precision.
