Role Title: Marketing Insights & Analytics Manager (Group)

Reporting to: Marketing Director


We’re looking for a self confessed marketing data geek to join our dynamic team. You'll be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, turning complex data sets into actionable insights that support delivery of our commercial goals. We're seeking a strategic thinker that can effectively communicate findings to optimize campaigns, strengthen our understanding of our vast and varied audiences, and ultimately drive business growth You’ll have a proven track record in marketing analytics, and a knack for translating insights into compelling strategies and recommendations across a range of stakeholders to drive change.


THE ROLE

This role forms a key part of our Shared Services Marketing Team working across both Village Hotels and Village Health & Wellness.


Key tasks include

  • Use analytics platforms to conduct in-depth analysis of campaigns and channel performance to provide clear and concise insights into channel performance and trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.

  • Develop, and maintain marketing performance and customer insight dashboards and reports, providing regular insights to the wider marketing teams and business unit leaders.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.

  • Analyse customer data to provide insights on key audience segments - helping the business to better understand audience characteristics, trends and tailor business plans and marketing efforts accordingly.

  • Analyze customer journey touchpoints, identifying pain points and opportunities for improved customer experience.

  • Develop and maintain customer lifetime value (CLTV) models and other predictive analytics to forecast customer behavior and inform retention strategies.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, best practices and benchmark data points.

  • Own Village’s testing strategy across multiple channels (CRM and CRO in particular). - supporting the wider teams by providing a framework that supports a culture of test and learn, providing data led recommendations that will improve marketing performance, drive commercial opportunity and support continuous improvement 

  • Utilize and optimize various marketing analytics platforms, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools to provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to business unit leaders and the wider marketing team to aid decision making.


THE SKILLS

A marketing analytics manager needs a blend of technical, analytical, and soft skills to be effective. Their primary responsibility is to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing strategy and business growth.

  • Advanced Data Analytics - experienced in thorough and accurate statistical analysis, data visualization, predictive modeling, attribution modelling and testing strategies.

  • Proficient user of data visualization tools and web analytics platforms such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio

  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems such as Salesforce (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of tracking and tagging capabilities and experience using tools such as Google Tag Manager. 

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Strategic thinking - with the ability to connect data insights to broader business goals and marketing strategy.

  • Project Management - with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to tell the story through data, at all levels. 

THE LOCATION


This role is a hybrid position combining a mix of office (Warrington) and home- working, with an expectation for travel to any of our UK hotels as required
