Overview

Freelance Data Scientist (Senior) Global Marketing Agency at The Industry Club. Hybrid working arrangement with a central London office. 3 month initial contract with potential to extend; Inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement AI campaign modelling and campaign forecasting engines.
• Make recommendations to drive media performance and customer experience while optimising revenue.
• Guide, mentor and lead a team of data scientists and support their career growth.
• Manage multiple data science projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Analyse data, uncover trends and provide insights to impact client businesses.
• Develop data solutions, tools, and prototypes that empower clients with self-service frameworks.

The person / Qualifications

• Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
• Ideally a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Experience using AI tools and building machine learning models for tasks such as recommendations, segmentation, forecasting, and optimising marketing spend.
• Experience in a marketing/creative/tech/digital agency.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Bash, Git; ownership of tools like Jupyter notebooks, Pandas, PyTorch.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable client insights.
• Management experience is a plus; role may involve direct line management or mentoring depending on experience.

• Remote/onsite hybrid in Central London.
• Location: London, United Kingdom.
