Marketing Executive – B2B Events / Awards – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to turn permanent)
Salary up to £38k Basic + Benefits
Hybrid – 2 days per week in Central London office

We’re looking for a B2B Events Marketing Executive to join our client’s dynamic marketing team and help shape the promotion and delivery of their market‑leading industry awards and events across their global brands. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll coordinate engaging marketing campaigns, manage social media and email communications, keep event websites fresh and compelling, and work closely with partners, nominees and sponsors. You’ll play a vital role in driving audience engagement, maintaining consistent branding and supporting seamless event operations.
Experience and knowledge
Proven track record of developing and executing B2B events and/or awards marketing programmes
Solid understanding of marketing principles and campaign planning
Familiarity with event marketing and audience engagement strategies
Knowledge of social media platforms and basic analytics
Awareness of branding, content creation and digital marketing tools
Competent understanding of CRM (ideally Salesforce) and email marketing platforms (ideally Pardot)
Skills and attributes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities
Creative flair for developing marketing content and campaigns
Meticulous attention to detail, especially for award submissions, nominee details and collateral
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders with ease
Comfortable using design or content tools (e.g., Canva, CMS, email builders)
Team player who thrives on coordinating with event, sales and operations teams
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving campaigns that deliver – Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, including email and social media, that reach the right people at the right time.
Collaborating across teams – Translate strategic goals into actionable campaigns, monitor and analyse performance to report on results, particularly around attribution and influence.
Building strong relationships – Forge effective working relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, sales, editorial, product and business intelligence to understand the market and the customer journey.
Work closely with product and editorial teams to ensure events attract senior market participants through high‑quality, accurate communications across websites, social media and email.
Collaborate with the event production team and editorial colleagues to develop first‑class event web pages that are engaging and informative, driving registrations and attendance.
