We are looking for an enthusiastic and superbly organised Marketing Coordinator with exceptional attention to detail to deliver high impact marketing campaigns to support our industry-leading Aurora client and public events with the aim of sharing the company’s original analysis on the hottest energy topics.

Joining our Oxford office, you will be working closely with our in-house events team to deliver creative and well-crafted marketing campaigns to ensure maximum uptake in registrations and attendance at our annual events across various European venues, including our flagship Spring Forum event in London, which attracts industry leaders and experts from the energy sector.

In addition to the live events, you will also be tasked to promote and implement strategies to increase our Energy Unplugged podcast listener numbers and improve traction within our target audiences through innovative marketing campaigns.

You will be an important member of our Events team, reporting to the Head of Events, and working alongside colleagues of all levels. Great organisational skills are vital for this role, together with a flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for our large Aurora events, including email, social media, digital advertising, and content marketing.
  • Closely collaborating with the rest of the events team to develop cohesive messaging and promotion strategies, achieving registrations and ticket sales KPIs.
  • Coordinating the production of marketing materials including event conference programme and post event highlights package.
  • Coordinate and grow our social media presence by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across various platforms to promote events and engage with our audience.
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns, including writing copy, creating email templates, segmenting lists, and analysing performance metrics.
  • Track, analyse, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate media partnerships for our large events in collaboration with the Press team.
  • Promote our Energy Unplugged podcast on various channels and implement strategies to increase our podcast listener numbers and improve traction within our target audiences through innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute with ideas to constantly improve our events strategy and as part of the wider Commercial team, always asking ‘What’s next?’

What we are looking for

Required attributes:

  • 2+ years of experience within a marketing team
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and re-prioritize in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Professional, excellent communication skills, able to build relationships at all levels
  • Able to use your own initiative and work on tight deadlines
  • Able to support and work cooperatively with other members of the team
  • Good PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Prepared to attend occasional events

Desired attributes:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Account Engagement, WordPress, webinar software, Google Analytics, Social Media marketing
  • Experience of B2B marketing, including events
