OverviewJoin to apply for the Events and Marketing Professional role at BT Group.Location: London, Birmingham or Manchester. 3 days in the office, 2 remote.The individual in this role will be responsible for executing a strategic events and hospitality marketing plan that aligns to our goals and supports our wider marketing programmes. Our events and hospitality programme needs to drive brand awareness, consideration and conversion across our target account lists – whether this is new acquisition or driving growth from our existing customer base.You will need to understand the outcomes the UK sales teams require from marketing and support the delivery of a strategic plan. You will define the KPI’s, measure them to track success, and ensure activities align with our marketing goals and objectives and deliver memorable customer experiences that excite and delight.What You’ll Be DoingSupport the Events and Hospitality Manager by acting as an interface into the private, public, wholesale and SMB teams.Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure event and hospitality programmes drive strategic objectives, working with agencies where necessary.Ensure governance and compliance are correct for all hospitality and events.Create clear measurement and demonstrable ROI and pause or stop activity where targets are not achievable.Execute world class events and hospitality experiences for our customers that drive a tangible commercial outcome.Support the delivery of flagship events such as the Customer Advisory Board and related communications.Collaborate with multiple areas of the marketing team to map experiences into strategic vertical, segment and campaign plans.Manage the budget for the elements of the plan you will execute.Provide results and ROI on customer activity.Bring creativity to help BT stand out in a crowded Telco marketplace.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in planning and executing events and hospitalityDemonstrated success in delivering impactful marketing campaignsProven ability to create engaging and memorable experiences that delight customers and drive advocacyAbility to work with multiple senior stakeholders across different teams to deliver activity on time and within budgetStrong collaboration across teams to deliver targeted activityHighly organised with a focus on high-quality project management deliveryExperience evaluating program effectiveness and demonstrating ROISkilled in managing multiple senior stakeholders across departments to ensure timely and budget-conscious deliveryExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationshipsSound understanding of business drivers and the ability to align activities with commercial goalsBenefitsAnnual on target bonus 10% (based on personal and company performance)BT Pension scheme; minimum 5% employee contribution, BT contribution 10%25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays with option to buy up to one week; increases with service2 weeks carer’s leaveFamily Leave policy from January 2025: 18 weeks at full pay, 8 weeks at half pay, 26 weeks at statutory rateEnhanced women’s health support, life assurance, employee discounts on BT productsEE mobile plan discounts, My Discounts program, EE TV discountsHealthcare options and other benefits; volunteering daysElectric vehicle salary sacrifice (My EV) and 24/7 private virtual GP appointmentsWe value diversity and inclusion and believe in making a positive impact.
