We are seeking a proactive and creative events & marketing manager to join a small, dynamic team in a leading membership-based organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional with marketing skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of high-profile projects.

We are a membership-based organisation; this role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering flagship events and supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Role overview

As Events & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering two flagship events, including the annual conferences and award dinners, plus other member engagement activities such as breakfasts and roundtables. You will lead logistics and communications, working closely with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to ensure each event is delivered to the highest standard. Alongside events, you will manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to boost engagement and awareness, including crafting content and running targeted email campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of corporate events, from concept to delivery
  • Coordinate logistics including venues, catering, AV, and guest communications
  • Liaise with speakers (often senior executives), sponsors, and suppliers
  • Develop budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations
  • Create engaging marketing content for events across digital, print, and social platforms
  • Execute email campaigns and optimise event webpages
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on outcomes

About you

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in managing a variety of events
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management abilities
  • A creative flair for marketing with experience across multiple channels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/database knowledge (e.g. Salesforce) is desirable
  • A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach

Why apply?

This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact in a close-knit team where your ideas and creativity will be valued. You’ll gain exposure to senior leaders, manage high-profile events, and develop campaigns that drive real engagement.

If you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional events and communications, we would love to hear from you.
