Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a range of stakeholders from across our B2B and D2C businesses to plan and deliver Vanguard’s email marketing programme in Europe, from direct action marketing communications, trigger-based journey automations to transactional service messages.
  • Ensure that all email communication campaigns adhere to local regulation, best practice, and brand guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing automation campaigns and journeys aligned with our marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage a team of two email marketing specialists, ensuring their ongoing development.
  • Oversee the governance and segmentation of marketing data (PII), ensuring that it is accurate and adheres to privacy and data management policies.
  • Manage the design, build, test and dispatch of HTML email campaigns, automations, and journeys via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to build engagement, drive specific action, or react to behavioural information.
  • Ensure that all emails are tested and render effectively across email clients.
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics. Distribute email campaign performance insights to the marketing team.
  • Create recommendations to improve campaign performance and process improvements.
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing, to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Engage with Product Owners to troubleshoot and remedy any issues arising with the technology stack.
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends, tools and technologies to ensure that Vanguard’s email marketing programme is effective and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.
