Youll be at the heart of setting the direction of our marketing future, whilst leading a talented team and collaborating across the business to deliver creative, data-driven campaigns that inspire guests and drive commercial success.
What youll be doing:
As Group Director of Marketing, youll lead the Marketing department and collaborate with key stakeholders within a dynamic environment with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability, increasing brand visibility and enhancing the guest experience.
You will be responsible for developing, executing, delivering, and optimising comprehensive and effective marketing strategies for Apex Hotels and its sub brands. You will utilise different revenue streams, channels and segments aligned to the tactical objectives, goals, and overall vision for the group.
Overall responsibility for a team of 11, across the marketing mix including brand, content, campaigns, digital, design, social and public relations
Accountable for marketing rooms, food and beverage, conference and events, spa and gift voucher revenue streams
To act as the brand custodian, enforcing the brand image at all times and overseeing positioning, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels, materials, and guest touchpoints. Enhancing brand awareness and brand loyalty through targeted initiatives
Utilising data analytics to measure the performance of marketing initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimise marketing campaigns and improve ROI/ROAS
About you:
Preferable and proven experience in a senior marketing role within the hotel or hospitality industry
A strategic thinker with a strong background in hospitality marketing, digital marketing, and brand management with a marketing-based qualification or degree
Proven expertise in marketing leadership in a complex digital and dynamic environment with excellent team management skills
Track record in marketing, managing successful teams and achieving targets.
Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools
Creative and innovative thinker with a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer experience through innovative and unique travel marketing campaigns (digital & traditional)
Flexibility to adapt to changing market trends and business needs.
Ability to manage multiple projects, organise and prioritise.
Numerate and analytical with the ability to produce reports and derive valuable insights and analysis.
Experience using a CRM for reporting, research, insight and loyalty/recognition to optimise repeat/recency and direct bookings.
