Overview

Director of Marketing and Admissions at Old Buckenham Hall (OBH), Old Buckenham, Suffolk. Reporting to the Head and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team. OBH will formally become part of the Rugby School Group in January 2026.

Salary: up to £75,000 per annum FTE, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of marketing, recruitment and communications strategies for OBH.
• Drive the school’s marketing and admissions activities and develop a bold recruitment strategy within a competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders; provide leadership within the Marketing and Admissions function.
• Engage with the Rugby School Group merger integration to shape OBH’s next chapter.

Requirements

• Extensive marketing and communications experience with leadership capability; experience in education is desirable.
• Commercial acumen, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Applications welcome from candidates who want to work on a full- or part-time basis (minimum 4 days a week); hybrid working arrangement may be considered.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post.
