Hybrid role based in our London office. The Director of Marketing UK/Europe reports to the global Vice President and leads marketing for LOD and Consilio across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities include marketing strategy, senior stakeholder collaboration, revenue‑focused performance, brand growth, budget ownership, and team management.

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing strategies to support business objectives, drive revenue, and facilitate a high‑performing marketing function.
  • Operate with a clear strategic vision, embedding marketing best practice and a high‑performing team.
  • Devise strategic campaigns to effectively meet specific business needs, such as product launches or new market opportunities.
  • Lead strategic positioning initiatives from research to execution of market‑facing materials.
  • Create channel strategies to reinforce overarching marketing strategies.
  • Tailor global marketing strategies and outputs to meet regional needs, supporting broader global initiatives.
  • Partner with senior business leaders, collaborating to deliver marketing that supports their objectives.
  • Manage senior stakeholders across business units to unify marketing outputs.
  • Advocate regional requirements with global marketing leadership.
  • Operate strategically and commercially to manage expectations of regional and global leaders.
  • Oversee the work of two Marketing Managers, their performance, and career development.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Deliver positive ROI across the full mix of marketing channels.
  • Use marketing to drive website traffic, acquire and retain new clients and lawyers, boost brand awareness, and lift engagement.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, identity, and creative execution across on‑ and offline channels.
  • Grow and maintain brand strength as a foundation for all activity.
  • Protect and defend the brand across initiatives.
  • Own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Report on KPIs, campaign performance, and strategic outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Manage agency relationships and other external partners.

Qualifications

  • 10–12 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in legal services or legal tech.
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing, tailored to corporate clients and law firms.
  • Success in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns across the UK and European markets.
  • Revenue‑focused marketing experience, including performance tracking, data analysis, and funnel optimization.
  • Strong analytical mindset, using data to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
  • Ownership of marketing budgets, focused on cost‑efficiency and strategic investment.
  • Skilled in brand positioning and growth in competitive B2B environments.
  • Strong collaboration with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, and product teams.
  • Experience leading and developing high‑performing marketing teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crafting compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo desirable.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field desirable.
