This role combines technical skill, visual creativity, and in-depth jewellery knowledge.Role OverviewThis is a hands-on role responsible for managing Wave Antiques’ digital platforms, including our website and product photography. You will photograph and upload jewellery listings, ensuring all entries are visually compelling, accurate, and SEO optimised.Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite and Product ManagementPhotograph jewellery using Orbitvu equipment; retouch and edit images using Adobe Creative SuiteCreate and manage product listings on the website, ensuring accuracy in titles, descriptions, materials, carat weights, hallmarks, measurements, condition, and periodWrite clear, engaging, and SEO optimised product descriptions in line with Wave’s tone and storytelling approachMaintain and refine the website’s visual presentation to reflect the brand’s identityTrack product performance and suggest improvements to boost online engagement and conversionContent CreationDevelop engaging digital content for social media, newsletters, and the website including behind-the-scenes footage, product highlights, and storytelling featuresPlan, film, and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTokCollaborate with the team to develop content calendars that align with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and market trendsCollaboration and Brand SupportLiaise with the stock and operations team to ensure new pieces are efficiently listed onlineEnsure consistency across all digital channels in terms of imagery, language, and toneProvide customer insights and sales data to inform digital strategies and inventory decisionsSkills and ExperienceProficiency in product photography, with experience using Orbitvu or similar studio setupsStrong skills in Adobe Photoshop and basic video editing (Premiere Pro or similar)Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury, antique, or fine jewellery retail (B2C)Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or similar CMSSound knowledge of SEO principles for digital content and product listingsExcellent written English with sharp attention to detailComfortable in client-facing situations with a strong record of successful salesJewellery qualifications such as Gem-A (FGA/DGA) or GIA certificationIn-depth knowledge of jewellery history, periods, and materialsFamiliarity with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics and structured product metadataPersonal QualitiesHighly organised, detail-oriented, and proactiveStrong creative eye and passion for storytelling through visualsExcellent communicator, both written and verbalSelf-motivated and adaptable within a fast-paced, small teamGenuine enthusiasm for jewellery, design history, and client serviceWhat We OfferThe chance to work closely with rare and historically significant jewelleryOngoing training in photography, gem identification, and salesA collaborative, supportive team cultureCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesTo ApplyPlease email your CV to waveantiques@gmail.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
