The opportunity

We're seeking a creative and strategic Digital Marketing Manager with a well-rounded skill set across the digital marketing spectrum. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building engaged communities through organic social media and understands how a great website experience contributes to overall success. While experience managing paid campaigns is valuable, you'll be instrumental in planning, executing, and optimising integrated digital campaigns that deliver for our clients. You will develop client strategies, take on significant responsibility, and contribute directly to our the team's success.

Your role:

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop data-driven digital marketing strategies for clients, outlining clear objectives, target audiences, channel choices, and budget recommendations.
  • Organic Social Media Management: Develop and implement organic social media strategies. Create and manage content calendars, identify emerging trends, and foster community engagement to build brand presence, focusing on metrics like engagement and shares as well as conversions.
  • Website and Content Strategy: Proactively analyse client websites to identify opportunities for improving user experience (UX) and conversion rates. Advise on content strategy, ensuring website content is fit for purpose, engaging, and aligned with user behaviour.
  • Campaign Management: Set up, manage, and continuously optimise paid media campaigns across platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram), ensuring they meet client goals and budget requirements.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and platform-specific reporting. Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Create clear, meaningful reports and dashboards using Google Looker Studio and spreadsheets.
  • Tracking and Implementation: Assist with setting up conversion tracking and events using Google Tag Manager (creating triggers, deploying tags).
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, presenting strategies, performance reports, and insights clearly and confidently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (creative, development, account management) to ensure integrated campaign success.
  • Problem Solving and Learning: Proactively identify challenges, research solutions, and stay current with digital marketing trends and platform updates.
  • Process Management: Maintain clear documentation of project progress, including status reports and contact reports.
  • Growth Support: Contribute to team presentations and potentially assist with new business pitches.

The ideal change-maker:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role, with demonstrable experience across paid media, organic social media management, and website content principles. Experience gained agency-side or client-side is valuable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in setting up and managing campaigns within Meta Ads Manager.
    • Experienced with Google Analytics for performance analysis and reporting.
    • Skilled in using Google Looker Studio and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for data visualisation.
    • Competent using Google Tag Manager (creating tags, triggers, basic implementation – no coding required).
    • Familiar with organic social media scheduling and listening tools.
  • Strategic and Creative Thinker: A keen eye for what makes compelling organic content and an understanding of how to build an online community. You can look at a website and provide actionable recommendations for improving the user journey.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Problem-solving: Curious, resourceful, and adept at finding solutions to technical or strategic challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to clients and colleagues.
  • Organisation: Well-organised with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Attitude: Self‑motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with a positive "can‑do" approach.
  • Cultural Fit: Gels well with a diverse team, interested in digital culture, and committed to continuous learning and helping others grow.
  • Hybrid Working: Ability to work from the office at least three days per week.
