OverviewWe’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join us in our Walsall office on a hybrid pattern, to lead our digital experience, showcase our products and drive footfall to our stores. You’ll be an expert at SEO and know how to make our digital shop window stand out against competitors. With the support of a Digital Executive, you’ll manage the approach we take and how we communicate to our customers.We uphold three core behaviours that guide all our actions: Love Our Customers, Care for Our Colleagues, and Protect Our Pounds/Euros. This role is a multi-faceted Digital position focused broadly across all aspects of digital marketing.ResponsibilitiesCoaching, developing and supporting the Digital Executive.Leading the strategy for our brand and retail-led CRM programme.Effectively manage project and operational budgets across web and digital marketing channels.Using analytics tools to track site performance, user behaviour and engagement metrics to identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey and drive continuous improvement.Constantly reviewing categorisation and navigation to capture key trends and provide a seamless experience.Requirements / QualificationsEvidence of over 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience leading website management.Retail industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential.Excellent technical and hands-on knowledge of SEO, website optimisation and how to increase customer engagement.Experience managing third parties and a track record of online merchandising.Proficiency with a variety of analytics tools.Company ContextSince our humble beginnings in 1990, Poundland has evolved into a retail powerhouse with over 700 stores and 15,000 dedicated colleagues across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
